Description: It is used to treat anti-cancer medication by blocking a protein (PD-1) on the surface of certain immune cells called T-cells. This action activates the T-cells to locate and kill cancer cells.

Indication: Treatment of non-small cell lung cancer, kidney cancer, head and neck cancer, melanoma, Hodgkin’s disease and liver cancer

Use of Opdyta Injection

• Upper respiratory tract infection
• Musculoskeletal (bone, muscle or joint) pain

• Upper respiratory tract infection
• Irregular heartbeat
• Eye inflammation
• Infusion-related reactions
• Increased amylase
• Increased lipase

When not to use?

This injection is not suggested for use in patients with a known allergy to Nivolumab or any other inactive ingredients present along with it.

Warning

• Pregnancy
  This injection is unsafe to use during pregnancy. If the injection is given to pregnant women then it is acceptable the risk of life-threatening situations. For further information please consult your doctor.
• Breast-feeding
• It is unsafe to give during lactation as the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
• Alcohol
